Warehouse photo review

Use QC photos to find visible problems before shipping

Compare the received item with the selected listing in a fixed order. Ask for another photo when the required area is hidden or too blurred to judge.

Checklist reviewed: 4 September 2026. QC photos reduce uncertainty about visible condition; they do not certify authenticity, materials, or long-term quality.

Review the photo set in order

1. Identity

Confirm the color, size marking, variant, included pieces, and visible model details match what was selected.

2. Overall shape

Look at front, back, both sides, and the base. Check symmetry and whether the item appears distorted by packing.

3. Construction

Inspect visible seams, edges, panels, fasteners, soles, handles, and hardware appropriate to the category.

4. Measurements

Compare ruler photos with the listing and your own requirement. A size tag alone is not a measurement.

5. Surface condition

Check for stains, scratches, glue marks, uneven color, loose threads, dents, and missing pieces.

6. Decision evidence

Save the listing details and relevant QC views together so the reason for passing or exchanging remains clear.

Pass, ask, exchange, or stop

  • Pass: the selected variant and required measurements match, and no unacceptable visible defect is present.
  • Ask: an important area is missing, covered, poorly lit, or too blurred for a decision.
  • Exchange: the wrong variant arrived or a visible defect exceeds the limit you set before ordering.
  • Stop: the available evidence cannot resolve a material uncertainty and the destination offers no suitable remedy.
Evidence rule

Describe only what the image shows. Use “the seam appears uneven in this view” instead of turning a single photo into a general claim about quality or seller reliability.
